Everything here revolves around beer. In historical, restored vaults of the former Benedictine brewery, 1,400 exhibits of beer culture can be admired.
Thousands of colourful animal specimens, mainly birds, but also corals, shells, fish, snakes and other living creatures fill the noble showcases of the museum. But there is also a 200-year-old collection of various types of wax fruit to be seen. The highlight of the Natural History Museum is the famous Bamberg Bird Hall from 1810.
